  I truly love Eataly. I had to laugh a bit reading my original review from six years ago, since my opinion has changed so much! I've loved coming to Eataly for years now, and it continues to impress me. I enjoy stopping by for gelato during the warmer months or a hot chocolate during the colder months. I chose Eataly for the brunch destination following my bachelorette party (we ordered nutella crepes). I also enjoy grabbing foccacia as a quick meal or snack whenever I'm in the area. I've dined at La Pasta & La Pasta and Osteria Del Mercato. Both were excellent experiences. The mahi mahi at Osteria Del Mercato was out of this world--flaky, buttery perfection. Probably my favorite mahi mahi dish to date! The mozzarella is also so melt-in-your-mouth fresh. You can tell they make it there on site. I've never been disappointed by any dish I've tried at Eataly.
  
  I highly recommend going to Eataly if you're in the area, even if it's just for a snack and drink. There are plenty of food/drink options for all price points. Everything is fresh and delicious. I'm craving the pasta just writing this review!

  This is my kind of place, and our waiter was phenomenal, however, tonight they brought out the wrong dish.  I had to wait for the correct order, while my colleagues got theirs and started to eat.
  
  Other than that, love this place, as it is the IKEA off Italian food. Next time.

  Eataly is both a specialty grocery store and a fast casual food court serving everything from prime rib sandwiches to gelato. I really enjoy cooking, but with my work schedule I just don't have the time to cook as often as I'd like. Occasionally I'll make time to whip up something nice. Most recently, I was on a bolognese kick. I've been trying to perfect a recipe for a while now.
  
  Eataly was my one stop shop to gather everything I needed. .. parmesan rinds, short ribs, ect. There's fresh pasta is inexpensive, well made and a huge time saver. They even offer pasta making classes if you're looking for cool date night or just interested in learning.
  
  The seafood, butcher's counter, wine selection and cheese offerings are all exceptional. They carry the finest selections of premium meats, seafood and cheese. This is an Italian grocer so the wines are mostly if not exclusively Italian.
  
  As far as the food court I typically opt for the pastas or the prime rib sandwich. The gelato is solid, but not special. Oh. ..and the fresh bread is great too. I know Mario Batali hates that he effed up this opportunity with poor choices. This place is a cash cow.

  Had a great experience at eataly. The shop is laid out in a pretty good way but you must wander upstairs for so much good food to explore and enjoy. If you can get your hands on some pizza then do it, absolutely delicious and such a nice twist from traditional Chicago style pizza.
  
  I bought a bottle of wine from the wine shop and prices weren't bad, $15 so not a crazy knock up overall the prices were spot on. The gelato downstairs was nice and a small goes a very long way. I enjoyed the pistachio gelato and it was very delicious.
  
  I can't wait to go back and try more food and amazingness.

  I wish I had more stars to give to this beyond amazing place.
  As of now it has over 3K reviews and I understand why.
  
  Because:
  Huge first of all.
  Two floors.
  Extremely friendly service.
  With Market.
  Fresh:
  Fruits.
  Vegetables.
  Chocolates
  Gelatos
  Pizza. Made right there in front of you. Charcoal was cool!
  Pastas. All made from scratch.
  Bakery.
  Wiiiiiines!!! And many Other different drinks.
  Souvenir section.
  And so much more.
  
  We had a prime rib sandwich with truffle oil
  It was to die for. The bread was fantastic but that meat was practically melting in my mouth with so much flavor plus that truffle oil made a huge impact. I wish I could have this everyday.
  
  We all love this place so much!!
